Re: Wireless bridge/repeater - can't access admin
To setup a wireless bridge properly you need 3 pieces of hardware. Router, Access point, wireless clients or stations. To setup a repeater you lock on to the routers AP or SSID. Your problem is most likely your channel width and your channel. Change channel width to 20Mhz. Make sure your wireless ro...

Re: No internet connection due to missing routings
I do not think that is the problem. A lot of times when setting up this new firmware you have to reboot the router and the modem. It is missing routing because it is not receiving information from your modem. Disconnect power from modem and router, then reapply power. See if that fixes your situatio...

Re: WiFi issues on TL-WDR4300
Hi, one thing you can try is to change wifi channels and lock your router to only use one channel. Turn off auto scanning. I never had any luck with solid wifi through any typical router. My suggestion is to buy a ubiquity M2HP picostation to use as an access point for your wifi. You will never lose...

Re: problem with 1.6.2 firmware
I found that disabling the firewall on my computer fixes the problem. How do I fix this problem without turning off the firewall?

Re: Capping bandwidth per device/MAC/IP address - Please hel
With a compatible router and the Gargoyle software the max speed is just over 16,000 mbps which might be a problem for some because cable is a lot higher than 16,000 mbps. That being said yes Gargole can help you. You can set bandwidth per device. Restrict hours of use, and cap bandwidth at selected...

Re: IP Block Country
The only way I know you can do this is through a VPN (Virtual Private Network} service. But that does not mean it can't be done with a router. However, I do not know of any router that can do this though, even with special software.

Re: problem getting Quota working
Change limit to GB instead of MB. That is the problem. I made that mistake too. 30 MB is way to small for any web usage. 10GB per week should be good. Maybe you meant 30GB per week?

Re: Firewall Restrictions not working
Hi I tested a couple restrictions. http://www.youtube.com - restriction did block the site. http://www.yahoo.com - restriction did not block the site. So some websites are not being restricted as instructed. Maybe it has to due with the version of HTML the website is coded in, I do not know. But sof...
