Hello!
My father addressed a problem: a router is connected in the house, connected via optics and distributing only WiFi, how to connect the WR-1043ND as a repeater, provided that there is no UTP-5e cable ?! Advise what to purchase for such a connection, if necessary.

No cable is required to operate the Gargoyle router as a repeater, everything is done using the WiFi part. Only use the cable to set up, then it will no longer be needed. Everything is set via GUI: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... e_repeater

Ok, will the router be able to distribute WiFi after such a setup ?!
Re: WR-1043ND repiter WiFi
Yes, when set up as a repeater, the router acts as both a client and an AP.
Attention! if the connection between the AP (master) and the client (Gargoyle) is lost, then the Gargoyle AP (slave) stops transmitting - this behavior is correct from the repeater point of view and is not an error.
