Netgear WNDR3800 File & HowTo (Solved)

There are a couple problems with finding the correct information.

At https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... ed_routers it lists my Netgear WNDR3800 under Atheros AR71XX Routers, and says to use the factory.bin file, and that I should use the *-wndr3800-* version. So I go to the download page at https://www.gargoyle-router.com/download.php and find no factory.bin file. However, there is a factory.img file. Where is the bin file?

Also, where are the installation instructions?

Factory.img is the correct one.
The extension varies between devices, you'll have to forgive the typo.

There are no installation instructions. You can probably google a guide but you just upgrade to Gargoyle.
The instructions are important for configuration afterwards.
