Re: QoS Setup
Surprisingly, I checked the router operation during a VoIP called (with the Lvl 7 setting enabled). It worked fine, I could see the RTP packets being prioritised first, so perhaps it does work???

Re: WLAN LED on TP-Link 1043ND
I fixed the problem by adding the correct settings in /etc/config/system found on the OpenWRT site. Not sure why the settings were not enabled in 1.4.7. However, I did do a reset to original, which may mean the restored settings were missing this code.

WLAN LED on TP-Link 1043ND
I noticed that on 1.4.7, the WLAN LED on the front panel does not flicker at all. It appears that there is no activity even though it's working fine.
Which config file do I need to look at to see if it is configured properly?

QoS Setup
I'm a bit confused about the best QoS Setup on Gargoyle 1.4.7. For my upload QoS I've specified what's attached. My VoIP box is located at 192.168.1.106. What I think I need to do is prioritise traffic so that all traffic from source: 192.168.1.106 going out to the internet needs to be set to VoIP. ...

Re: TP-Link -1043ND - No access to internet from wired lan h
Solved! Amazingly, it turned out to be the CAT5 cable from my router to my modem. For some reason it went bad overnight!!! I flashed from 1.4.7 to 1.4.6 and then back to 1.4.7, was about to try stock firmware and thought, what the hell, I'll switch the cable. Boom, worked immediately. Needless to sa...

Re: TP-Link -1043ND - No access to internet from wired lan h
I too have no Internet access. Dropped out sometime overnight and now I cannot get the router to connect. I've rebooted and power cycled many times. The router does not want to get an IP address from the modem. What's the approach to debugging this problem? Perhaps go back to the previous version (1...

Re: TP-Link -1043ND - No access to internet - WAN port not
I have a similar problem. I got up this morning, no internet access. I'm connected directly to the modem to type this. For some reason, 1.4.7 won't connect to the internet after multiple power up/downs of the modem and the router, it just won't connect. What the's best way to debug? Are we talking a...

Re: Hosts with Active Connections 10.85.0.1
Hi, I have noticed that some virtual machines will install a virtual adapter vbox and vmware in particular. Do you have these installed on any machine on your network? jFlash Nope. The major devices I have installed are: Minitar VoIP box MVA-11A 2 Squeezebox Booms (Logitech) couple printers, one wi...

Re: Hosts with Active Connections 10.85.0.1
I think I may know the problem, I will check tonight. I have connected to my company's VPN from home and I think that the address is the address of the VPN access point. I'm not sure why though it's persisting after I've disconnected. Perhaps I need to officially logout rather than just shutdown. I'...
