Re: Encryption*Edit
Well, apparently I spoke to soon. Set up guest network to match router and other ap. Tried to use selection of 2.4 only. Set it on a different channel. I stand right next to the gar ap to make sure I'm getting IP through it. It just sits at obtaining IP forever. Never gets one. So I tried setting gu...

Re: Encryption
That's what I needed to know. Thanks. I have a couple friends I don't mind sharing the 5ghz with when they come over. I actually want to share files with them. So I like the idea of separate for both. Doesn't matter. At least I can set up a guest acct on 2.4 only. That way the gaming gang can party....

So i Have to use same password for both wifi networks? IDK...But thanks for answering me. If you know there is suppose...

Re: WNDR4300V1 <> cable modem issue
Thank you for answering. I hope that he will come back and try your suggestion. This is very interesting. I have already downloadedd the 1.8 for my routers. But your saying 1.9 is the way to go? I guess i have more reading to do and more downloading. Brings a question though. If 1.9 is to buggy for ...

Re: WNDR4300V1 <> cable modem issue
I'm reading through the threads to educate myself as much as possible. This is prep for flashing a netgear wndr4300. So I read this thread where this person has a serious issue with reboot and cable modem on same model router. I downloaded the same gargoyle version he has. No one has responded to hi...
