well he cant exactly do that under the gpl or he would need to add a new license like bsd to his code.

That kind of defeats erics purpose with gargoyle, but if you want to commercially sell routers with gargoyle pre installed, you do need to pay licensing fees.

a router would be a good start.

well, that is not true. Fon has a public openwrt toolchain for rt3052. If everyone ask eric or another developer nicely to add support to garygoyle, eric will listen. Please add support for rt3052 eric.
