Has anyone tried using Gargoyle with the Airlink AR570W?
My local wholesaler has them on for $25 CAD.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone tried the Airlink AR570W?
There is not a whole lot of info on the Airlink AR570W
It looks like it's Wireless-N 150mbps, and only has 1 antenna, so
not a bad low-end wireless-N router for the price.
Can't find info on the chipset, but more than likely its based off
the RaLink chipset like its big brother, the AR670W.
Gargoyle only runs on Atheros and Broadcom currently.
If you can find somewhere that shows the AR570W is Broadcom
based chipset, then Gargoyle has the potential to work on it.
If it is a RaLink chipset, then it may be a while before Gargoyle
will support that router.

2x Asus RT-N16 = Asus 3.0.0.4.374.43 Merlin
2x Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH V1 A0D0 = Gargoyle 1.9.x / LEDE 17.01.x
2x Engenius - ESR900 Stock 1.4.0 / OpenWRT Trunk 49400

I'm currently using a 430W, which Gargoyle runs great on. Its only a G tho. Always looking for an inexpensive upgrade.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Well, I emailed support at Airlink101. Here's the response:
Hi,
The AR570W uses a Ralink RT3052 chipset.
So, I guess its not a candidate. *sigh*
Thanks again!

well, that is not true. Fon has a public openwrt toolchain for rt3052. If everyone ask eric or another developer nicely to add support to garygoyle, eric will listen. Please add support for rt3052 eric.
