Hi,

Good news, i tried the fix on my WRT-54GL and it works perfectly, the PPPoE connection comes up straight away after a reboot :)

.......and after all that you probably could've tried openwrt failsafe mode, i used it myself to de-brick my Linksys WRT54GL which had Gargoyle firmware on it at the time. Whilst the router is booting up the DMZ light will come on, during that time you can press (might have been hold) the reset butt...

Ok, after a bit of SSHing to the router i have figured out that a hostname is applied to the router from the router name section and appears as user@hostname in the command prompt, however it appears the name is not applied to the local dns which is why its not being resolved i guess. This is more of a cosmetic sugestion than anything else. Could an option be included to assign a hostname to a router running Gargoyle? Ive noticed the device name option does not do this. IPV6 Over PPPoE

Would it be at all possible to implement IPV6 over PPPoE and possibly on the LAN side into Gargoyle? My internet service provider is planning on offering IPV6 over PPPoE in a few months time and i would like to try it out. I have heard that apparently OpenWRT supports this (WAN side) but im not sure...
