hey guys I was wondering since now we have channel limitations such as the 40MHz channel width. is it possible to add wi_viz function similar to DD-WRT into Gargoyle for user to be able to scan the network to find the best channel?
Cheers

Re: Buffalo WZRG300NH
and make sure if you buy it online buy the US version which is usually $100+ includes shipping. anything under $100 might be japanese version which requires alot more effort to flash.

Re: Need help with Buffalo wzr-hp-g300nh
thanks for that post. that was the post i found earlier. I end up cancelling my purchase and going to buy a EU/US version lol
And just how many different versions of WZR-HP-G300NH routers are out there? I'd like to make sure the router I buy is fully compatible with gargoyle.

Re: Quotas; 1 user with many computers.
the hard way is always to kick heavy downloaders out. otherwise TPG is the way to go for sharing flat since their quota is generous and the 1mbps shaping also helps alot after the quota is reached. so as long as a good QoS setting is in place, you should be fine.

Congradulations to Paul!
I look forward to the new QoS implementation. since the VOIP still wasn't working perfectly while torrents are running, I look forward very much to see how the new QoS can improve my VOIP! (tomato is doing a really great job on QoS but it doesn't have quota control)

Re: PPPoE WAN bug?
Just want to follow up with this issue. because the problem of WAN not automatically re-connect still exists in 1.12. And since I have upgraded to 1.12 my connection drops more often than my previous 1.08 version and not reconnecting causes me not able to ssh back from work. anyone can confirm this ...
