How do I setup a package dump to file function?

Post by derekdowsland »

Hello. I need a function in my router to do the following...

1) Define a set of IP numbers (or MAC addresses maybe?) for computers, phones and tablets in my wifi network.

2) The function in my router then need to save all inbound and outbound packages from these devices, and save all data on files, like one for each date.

3) I login to my router via the webbinterface and download the files for analysis in wireshark.

Can Gargoyle help me with this? If so.. how?

I'm willing to pay for setup that works.

You would need a transparent proxy with caching to do this easily I think.
