Quota usage with remote access

Post by taylorjm »

So, I have a verizon hotspot with network 192.168.3.0 and the gargoyle router is on network 192.168.2.0

The gargoyle connects to the hotspot using address 192.168.3.64 on the wan side, then uses dhcp to the clients using a quota. The quota part works great, but I am connected to the 192.168.3.0 network, and I connect to the gargoyle through the wan port to administer it. When I do that, my usage gets monitored by the quota, I'm guessing because I'm coming in through the wan port, so it's getting recorded.

Before, I would connect through the quota lan side, and administer the router and it wouldn't get recorded, since it was just internal lan traffic, but when the quota was reached, I would be cut off. Any suggestions how to handle this?
