can't ping TL-WR941ND
hello,
few days ago i tried to flash a gargoyle or openwrt firmware, but something went wrong and my router is bricked.
i connected through serial and tried to flash via tftp, but by pc can't reach the router
i run printenv on router to check the ip
router ip: 192.168.1.10
server ip (my pc): 192.168.1.169
active eth: eth0
i set 192.168.1.169 on my pc with /24 mask and inserted the eth cable from my pc in router ports, but i cant ping 192.168.1.10 (tried wan lan1 lan2 lan3 lan4)
this means i cannot download the firmware via tftp
when i insert the cable into the router, the corresponding port led is blinking, meaning it has activity
pc and router are connected directly (no firewall / windows firewall is also disabled)
can anyone help with this issue?

Re: can't ping TL-WR941ND
have you tried failsafe reset?
Re: can't ping TL-WR941ND
i can't failsafe
sys led is on for two seconds after power up and then it shuts down and only pwr led stays on (tried pressing qss / reset button, sys led still not blinking)

Re: can't ping TL-WR941ND

Re: can't ping TL-WR941ND
if you are connected through serial and use putty

There is not IP address used with a serial cable

Re: can't ping TL-WR941ND
Hi
Serial connection is ok.
But for tftp i need IP connectivity between router and pc
But i cant ping router and when router tries to acess tftp server, it fails
Modem is 192.168.1.10
PC is 192.168.1.169
This is The configuration from printenv
