Monitoring Web traffic

Post by Shaunie »

Hi All,

Came across this site yesterday after looking into DD-WRT.
DD-WRT didn't seem to offer the features I wanted.

Is it possible to monitor web traffic live? IE if I open a connection to the internet on a device then it shows straight away in a webpage on my router?

I have a device on my network that when connected to the internet seems to cause my internet connection to drop. It has done this on both my TP link routers. The cable is fine as I have used it on my xbox for hours without issues. As soon as my my VU+ box is connected within minutes the internet connection is disabled via the router.

I have checked with my ISP and its not them causing it.

Thanks in advanced
Shaun

Yes, more or less.

You can see every connection on the connection list page but it can be overwhelming for a human because you will see hundreds if not thousands of connections.
