QoS Reboots

Post by digitalslave »

Hello,

Hoping there is a quick fix for this as I'm not sure a reset would work before the router resets. I have quotas set up and never had any issues. I was playing with QoS settings tonight for the first time and eventually ran into the router rebooting. It continues to do this. I have tried to shell into it and perform a /etc/init.d/qos_gargoyle stop and disable along with a reboot but it continues to reboot every couple minutes. Is there anyway I can get the router stable again?

Current memory:
Mem: 32276K used, 29464K free, 0K shrd, 3840K buff, 11572K cached

I think it is stable with bwmon_gargoyle disabled along with qos but I really need the quotas enabled. Assuming something may need cleared out to keep it stable? Any help is appreciated.

The same method should bail you out.

Lantis,

Thank you very much!! It must have been a time issue. Not at all what I was searching the forum for in the first place since I was messing with the QoS settings. Before I decided to wipe the directory mentioned or update the firmware I figured it was worth a shot to see if I was no longer in the future. I enabled quotas and QoS and everything is running smoothly today!
