how to compile gargoyle? (solved)

Hello, I'm new to gargoyle, I came here by accident, because openwrt is several days down and I desperately needed something openwrt based My first impression is I'm amazed! Ssh works as openwrt pluse very nice GUI and handy functions out of the box. Good work, guys!

But I will rather get the point, I'm used to compile openwrt packages into the flash image using make from latest trunk. There's great tutorial for compiling openwrt (well, when it works), but I'd like to include big packages into gargoyle which would not fit otherwise (samba, curl, emailing daemon, etc). Could you please point me to a direction, where should I start? Or gargoyle is compiled only by gargoyle developer, user gets the prebuild image and that's it? Thank you.

Hi , did You compile with succes , i try since few days ( i need gargoyle with USB drivers ) , but with no result :http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=8&t=8355 , still some errors .

No, I have not tested it yet. Judging from error message in your other post I'm almost sure, that we can't compile as long as openwrt will have problems with their servers, because gargoyle's make scripts depend on openwrt servers too.

Try later and maybe you will get lucky. Openwrt sometimes works somehow, but not everything, and sometimes is completely down. I hope they will get it fixed, because openwrt compilation is not possible too.

Lantis changed something in git , and compilation started , but not finished succesfully , after that i have errors :
