Bridging

Post by fishing4fun2 »

First post just found this site.
Question about bridging, Do both routers need to be the same model or can you use two different routers?
Thanks

Hi mate for a simple bridge any routers will do as long as the software will allow bridging. which is most routers you can get today.

eg my mane access point is a TP-Link wdr3600 and i have a bridge that is a mynet N750 that bridges my network to my kids bedromm for xbox and a gaming PC.

You can have to tipes of bridges, a wifi bridge called a repeater and a wiered bridge.

lots more info here:

For more on bridges have a litel google, good luck.
