I was wondering why the DIR-615 router is not available to download in the Download section, YET I was able to find the download link for 1.6.2 on a forum post (and it works great!).
I'm trying to find 1.7.x for the DIR-615 so that I can have a guest zone, but I am unable to find the download for it. Thanks if anyone can help!
Here is the forum post where someone sent the direct download page for DIR-615 1.6.2... viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4040
EDIT: Working Download links for DIR-615 C1 below. I tested them.

It probably ran out of space for 1.7. It only has 4MB flash, and similar, my DIR 601 A1 was only able to make it to 1.5.10 since future versions ran out of space.
QoS Tip: Don't complicate your QoS settings. Gargoyle evenly splits available bandwidth between active devices as needed. Just delete all your classification rules and leave only one normal service class and you're done. No more arguing over bandwidth.
Appreciate the idea, and although that might be part of the situation, there's something more going on, because, just to clarify:
There are NO downloads available for my D-link DIR-615 in the Download section. Not for ANY version. Luckily somebody in the forums was kind enough to give a direct link to the 1.6.2 download, so I was able to download it. It works perfectly.
So for some reason, the DIR-615 does have downloads (at least for SOME versions) available, but it's hidden for some reason. You may have a point that they don't even have hidden 1.7.x available, but it doesn't explain why even 1.6.2 is missing, yet works great!

Oh I can explain that.
Same thing happened with the DIR-601 A1 I have. It used to be listed in the downloads section, but then once people complained that it didn't work from 1.5.11 onward, all download links were moved. For some reason Gargoyle webmaster removes all links to a router firmware, rather than from X forward. That explains why the download file is still there.
