Gargoyle 1.8 - dnsmasq logging?

On 1..2 I used to turn on dnsmasq logging with the following:

#log-facility=/var/log/dnsmasq.log
#log-queries

This is so I can send certain server addresses to diferent dns servers.

I wanted to add a new entry and turned on the logging today but no log is added to /var/log/dnsmasq.log

I had a quick look in logread and didnt see any errors. Has anything changed?

I've not tried since. But I haven't seen any log appear.
