It might be wise to check that your Gargoyle download is not corrupt. (ie check the file size and the MD5 Sum)

the file size is ok. i don't know how to check the MD5 Sum, but i downloaded 5 times the same file, and keep getting that message... Tried IE and Chromme (don't have FF).
Which version of Gargoyle are you attempting to use?

Rename your Gargoyle download to a shorter filename (ie gargoyle.bin) and try again
