Hi,
Just installed Gargoyle on my tl-wa801nd router today.
My issue is that after enabling Qos Active Congetsion Control the State shows disabled*
What does that mean?
I badly want qos...pls help
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running? TL-WDR3600 : Gargoyle 1.9.0 : NBN FixedWireless
TL-WR1043ND-V2 : Gargoyle 1.8.0 : 3G Huawei E160E
So the "State: DISABLED" that you are looking at (near the bottom of the screen) relates to the "Active Congestion Control" which is a single feature of the QOS. Have a read under the 2 x "More info" links in the "QOS (download) -- Active Congestion Control" screen. My pic above relates to this.
QOS (Download) is enabled right up at the top of the screen "Enable Quality of Service (Download Direction)". You can check that it is working by looking at Status - QoS Distribution and Status - Connection List.

I would suggest that perhaps your ping target is unavailable.
Try using a manual ping target and use openDNS or similar and see if it works. Then we can try and pick a more suitable server.
Can you provide a screenshot of both your download and upload QoS pages please?

Thing is I ran into another problem..
I tried flashing factory firmware through web ui but couldnt succeed
Then I used WinSCP and placed the firmware in /tmp and flashed it.
The router rebooted but it aint workin.
System and QSS led blink together slowly and Power led is on.
Tried 30/30/30 reset but didnt work..
