I have a question about a configuration.....:

I purposely bought a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2, with the intention of installing Gargoyle Router on it. I don't know much about QoS, but that seems to be the solution to my problem, although I have no idea what values to put in:
So, I have an NVIDIA Shield. I currently have no less than 5 devices on the network at a time, maxing out at about 8 or 9 depending on the day. I have only two other networks within distance of mine, and I also have various Bluetooth devices throughout the house. Now, I am intending to have my Shield ready to stream outside the network as well. Most of the time I will be using the GameStream function of it, it will be strictly outside the network. The need for dual-band is in question, and the need and configuration needed for QoS is in question. I currently have a Quota for all clients on the network that specifies a 0MB upload before throttling the network to 896 kbps Down and 256 Mbps up. On the one computer that is setup to do GameStream it is setup to specify a 0MB upload before throttling to basically unlimited (1GB down/1GB up) as my ISP is giving me about 5-6Mbps up and 25-30 Mbps down at any given time.
My DOCSIS 3.0 gateway is set to Modem mode, so everything being forwarded is directly from the router, and the wireless AP on that is completely disabled. Other than GameStream, I have an Azureus remote and a remote shutdown server being forwarded. I just cannot understand why it never gets the speed necessary for this. Let me know if you guys can help. I have zero idea how to setup QoS as well, so maybe some specific ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
