1043 has no WAN IP Address

1043 has no WAN IP Address
warning, newbie.. I just flashed a TP 1043 with v 1.4 (also tried 1.3) and the result is I can not get a WAN IP Address. I selected Wired (DHCP) and yet still no IP address. Any ideas ?
