Is this a good choice for a Gargoyle Router?

Will support all functions of the latest firmware?

How do I tell what version this is so that I use the correct file?

yeah works perfect with gargoyle 1.6.0

when u get the router login and take a look wich
hardware version u have got.

then flash gargoyle

Just installed the router on my network and it reports:

Firmware Version: 3.13.27 Build 121101 Rel.38183n
Hardware Version: WR841N v8 00000000

In the download list for Atheros firmwares I see:

gargoyle_1.6.0-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841nd-v7-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

No version 8...

Where do I go from here?

For anyone that searches for this in the future:

gargoyle_1.6.0-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr841n-v8-squashfs-factory.bin

is the appropriate file, there is not difference between the 841nd and the 841n. The new firmware flashed easy through the factory web interface and it is up and running and working.
