Port Forwards Randomly Clear

Post by sunnyd71 »

Hi,

I'm on the latest 1.6.0 build for the NETGEAR NDR3700v2 but have had this issue in 1.5 as well. It seems that sometimes randomly on its own, or when modifying settings, the port forward settings erase. It is usually only some of them that clear with it more often happening to the Port Range section rather than the Individual, although it happens to both.

Any suggestions on this bothersome issue?

I've seen someone else with the same router report the same issue. It is really too bad because otherwise, it is amazing firmware and runs very smoothly.

I reported the same issue.

I hope they fix it. I really want to keep using this firmware. its otherwise awesome!

RE:

I have had both the ports forwarded disappear and stop working even when still in the table. rebooting doesn't seem to fix it.. you have to remove or just re add the port and it will work for a day.

If anyone has a fix for this it would be awesome!

I have this problem too. I have two TP-Link TL-WR1042ND routers, and they both have this exact issue with port forwards vanishing. Works fine in 1.4.x, breaks in 1.5.x and 1.6. Haven't found a workaround yet.

Sorry, I meant 1043ND. Silly typo.
