So far all seems to be okay, 2 days and counting.
But what I doesnt do is show images on the splash page.
How can I resolve this?
DocumentRoot is /usr/share/NoCatSplash/htdocs
I have my splashpage in there, along with the image directory.
All of the images are chmod 744
I have tried linking images in the html splashpage to;
/images foo.png (rel to file)
/usr/share/NoCatsplash/htdocs/foo.png (rel to DocRoot)
I have tried putting copies in /www (rel to root)
with no result.
I have been using a wrt54gl with ddwrt and it all worked fine, andit seems to be okay on the 1650, except this issue.
I am now thinking that the http server shipped with gargoyle does not render images !!
I really need to show the images on my splash page, but have come to a grinding halt. I think i've checked the net all over, and now its down to asking.
Im just a casual linux user, but have no windows command line knowlege at all.
I am using ubuntu 10, and learning as need.
i would be very happy if someone could stear me in the right direction here.
