Hi,
I have problems with qos settings. My router is Asus WL-500Gp V1 with Atheros wifi card. I made custom build - Gargoyle 1.0.12 from SVN. I use PPPoE connection. Everything else this problem works very well and I didn't noticed any problems.
The internet connection was very slow(streaming movies, loading websites) so I started looking for solution. When I'm not using full bandwith Gargoyle limits medium class to strange values.
The graph shows file downloading through HTTP, and the peek is '/etc/init.d/qos_gargoyle restart' command, which shows real speed(about 1024kbit/s). The holes are moments when I was restarting QoS through the Gargoyle.
Default Service Class: medium
Total (Download) Bandwidth: 1024kbit/s
(80% from 128KB/s isn't 60KB/s as it is on graph)
Ps. Sorry for any grammar mistakes.
Cheers, Flyer

Re: Qos - bandwith issue
Hi,
I think I found the solution. I have got burnt WAN port on my Asus and I configured one port LAN as a WAN port. There are 2 WAN ports and Gargoyle, I suppose, divides Total bandwidth on them.
Right now it works correctly, but I will do some tests.
