WNDR4500

Post by kturcotte »

Has anybody successfully flashed a Netgear WNDR4500 with Gargoyle? I don't see it on the supported list, but it seems to fit the minimum requirements (And then some). Mainly looking to get Gargoyle because I hear you can increase the dB it puts out, increasing signal strength (And distance I would imagine). This correct?

Very doubtful that anyone has flashed this unit with gargoyle, its not supported by openwrt, much less gargoyle, and because it is a broadcom based unit, i wouldn't hold your breath on getting support for it, if you'll notice, most openwrt/gargoyle supported routers are Atheros based routers, i think mainly this has to do with the fact that broadcom wireless drivers aren't open source. But it may happen, who knows...
