Hello,
I found that my wireless keeps dropping every day or so or after heavy usage so I wanted to change back to OEM firmware to see if I have the same problem or if it's a Gargoyle thing. It never use to be this bad when I first started using gargoyle, it stayed up for quite some time. I've tried playing around with the security setting to see if it makes a difference but it doesn't matter what I pick, i always drops.
I downloaded the firmware from linksys last night and tried to update the firmware by loading the bin fire via the GUI last night and it didn't work.
I read for the tp-link_tl-wr1043nd router that you can't use the default OEM package to uninstall. Is that the same thing for WRT54GL?? Does anyone have a bin file that I can use in the GUI to uninstall? Or do I have to force it into commandline mode to force install there?
Thanks
Agnes

Do I have to be in that mode first before I can do the TFTP?
If yes, how do I force my router to go into that mode?
Right now if I restart, it starts all the way.
Thanks
