Hello,
got a cablerouter from my provider, so NAT and DHCP is before the WAN Port of my gargoyle (stable) 1043ND. Is it possible to switch gargoyle to lan bridge mode. So the data should pass like a simple switch.
At the moment i have double nat and as assumed mtu problems from this.
Bye
Eric

Re: Howto LAN Bridge?
If you will investigate the setting screen you will see how to do this.
However, in this mode many Gargoyle features are disabled.
You are better advised to put your cable modem in bridge mode.

Re: Howto LAN Bridge?
In my 1.4.7 there is only an option for a wifi bridge, which version do i need?
The cable provider is turning to IPv6 this year, sometimes testing with emulation and tunnels. They only guarantee that on the lan side of cablerouter a IPv4 is available. So at the moment a gargoyle bridge will be a temporary solution, until plain IPv6 is ready.
Will paint this
-[hitron]----------------[gargoyle 1043]------ LAN
dhcp/nat lan wifi-ap full | ---- LAN
|----- LAN
