Upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.5.4 keep settings?

Can I upgrade as the subject suggests and use the settings backup/restore to keep my settings, or will something break when doing this between these versions?

Make a backup of your 1.4.2 settings and try it.

Usually if you are just upgrading from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3 it should not be
an issue, but sometimes upgrading from 1 major version to the next,
reloading an old config can cause a bunch of minor issues that
disappear if you re-configure from scratch.

Try and see is the only way, but if you start having glitches, its best
to reconfigure from defaults.
