linksys wrt54 gs v4

Post by dorian »

Hi im knew at this ,

After i read a lot about the linksys wrt54 gs v4 i managed to convert it to a Gargoyle with the firmware. i have this program called Putty (FTP) i was wondering if i could install two more programs to the Router but i do not know the commands/in which folders they belong on how to install new programs to the Router and the programs are exe and configuration. I want the exe programs to start when the Router gets internet and the configurations to be shown on the router, the putty programs, or any because to change the configurations. If some one knows will they lend me a hand and its only for testing use.
thank you

You can usually install packages via the ipkg or opkg commands.

You cannot run .exe files on the router as the router is linux based.
