Post by equi »

good morning from germany guys :D

yesterday, i've installed gargoyld on my new device and settet up the client bridge mode via the 2,4ghz device. Now, my 5ghz is disabled? i want the 2,4ghz to bridge and the 5ghz to open a new spot. isn't that possible?

In operation modem on the connection page, Wifi section use dual band, you then have the 5ghz settings.

Out of interest I have never used this as I don't understand the advantages over standard wifi - can all devices connect to 5ghz or only specific ones and is it better?

My understanding is only specific ones can connect and see 5ghz band.

I think you are correct, I need to try the 5ghz and then see if any of my devices then work.

Did you get it working?
