Hello,
I've got a Linksys WRT54G ver.2
I like to use him to extend my wlan (from Fritz!box 7340).
I've installed Gargoyle gargoyle_1.5.4-wrt54g-squashfs.bin on it without any problems. I've then selected the feature "Wireless Bridge/Repeater" and after reconnecting, my computer received the ipnr 169.254.39.51 with subnet 255.255.0.0. No gateway...
I can't reach the linksys anymore.
Can someone tell me what to do to get in touch with my Linksys ?
Kind regards,
koen

Connect your computer to wired port and then manually set the IP address of your computer's LAN connection to 192.168.1.2.
Then you can probably access at 192.168.1.1.
Mostly like your problem is that you did not enter your Wireless password correctly.
When you recover your connection change to gateway mode with WAN type to Wifi - DHCP. Then make sure your Gargoyle router connects correctly to your Fritzbox. Once you have everything working you can change back to repeater mode.

Hi PBIX
Thanks for replying.
The information i gave is wired. Wireless I can not find the router.
I've tried it with your info but I still cannot reach the router.
I suppose my router is #####. I probebly just can throw him in the trash.
Thanks,
Koen
