Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH VS. WZR-HP-AG300H
Will both of these routers work with gargoyle (I know that the first one will but will the second)? And if so could someone recommend one of them to me, I see that the second one is dual band which would be handy for me.

Just be aware that the G300NH has a newer revision with a different ethernet chip. The older version had the rtl8366s while the newer one has the rtl8366rb. If you happen to get the newer version, it won't work with the currently available Gargoyle firmware. At some point this should be fixed because it has been fixed "upstream" in the OpenWRT trunk, but I don't know when Gargoyle will get it.
You won't know which one you're going to get unless you buy it used from eBay or something and ask the seller to check. Mine is the newer version and has the code A1 F0B on it near the barcode. There's another code that indicates the newer chip as well.

Always check OpenWRT for hardware support.
Looks like its only supported in newest trunk testing
Which means currently, no Gargoyle image will support the AG300H
Also keep in mind what SirDrexel said above, there is a newer
hardware revision of the WZR-HP-G300NH that doesn't work
with Gargoyle currently - as seen here:

Actually DoesItMatter, that's a different router entirely. There are:
WZR-HP-G300NH (with rtl8366s - works with Gargoyle)
WZR-HP-G300NH (with rtl8366rb - doesn't work with Gargoyle)
WZR-HP-G300NH2 (doesn't work with Gargoyle)
WZR-HP-G300NH (with rtl8366s - works with Gargoyle)
WZR-HP-G300NH (with rtl8366rb - doesn't work with Gargoyle)

Actually I was wondering about the router that DoesItMatter mentioned too because it has a dual band antenna. Is there any idea of when it would come to Gargoyle? Also would I be able to use the dual band stuff with Gargoyle?SirDrexl wrote:Actually DoesItMatter, that's a different router entirely. There are:
