Yesterday I setup new gargoyle wireless router and my new modem, everything was going clappers.
Had the modem (TP-Link TD-8817) set to bridge with NAT set to multiple IPs and Firewall on.
On the router (TP-Link TL-WR1043ND) I set it to PPoE and setup wireless as well.
Everything was great, then late at night the wireless stopped working... what the hell.
Then when I wake up this morning the whole internet is down.
I can still connect via the modem however.
so I figure I'll set the modem to PPoE and then the router to DHCP like the tutorial suggests.
Story short I'm now stuck "identifiying" when I try to connect to the router.

Thanks for the post.
I was able to fix it using fail safe and just deleting the user data.
