[Closed] ASUS WL-500Gp v2 missing USB option

Hi,

I have flashed Gargoyle 1.4 on the ASUS WL500gp v2. I couldn't see there is an USB option like the TPLINK WR1043ND. I was using "gargoyle_1.4.0-wrtsl54gs-squashfs.bin", is it the correct firmware I should use?

I also don't have USB option in my Asus WL-500-gP V2. For Asus WL-500-gP V2 you should use gargoyle_1.4.0-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx.

please tell me if you ever see USB section in your Asus WL-500-gP V2 because it seems like Gargoyle can't detect any flash-drives on these router.

USB storage functionality was never implemented for Broadcom devices with a USB port.

So it's only Wi-Fi not working in my case.

are you using the orginal antenna? I had experience that 3rd party antenna can cause unstable.

yes, I'm using the original one and only. It works fine on original Asus' firmware.
