I just want to ask if there is a way to control the bandwidth that come into the router?
Actually, the service provider has provided a modem and wireless router. If you are using the wireless you have to login each time you start a computer.
So, i decided to use another router (buffalo) because PPPoE login can be enabled from my account and i use gargoyle because i want to share the data.
The problem is that my speed is awesome but my other housemates who uses the service provider's router are suffering from extreme lack of speed because i got all the speed.
So, i want to restrict the bandwidth for my router so everybody get a fair internet speed.
I am quite new to gargoyle and not familiar with all the features. If there is a way could anyone provide a procedure or link which has very detailed instructions? As I have said, I am a novice.
