WRT54G-TM Speed/Duplex Problems?
I have a WRT54G-TM and when I connect to it with my computer it says I am connected at 1.0Gbps, which I know is false since the router is only 10/100. When I try and connect either my dsl modem or another router to the wan port, the internet light flashes rapidly and no connection ever seems to be made. I believe this may be caused from the speed/duplex not being negotiated correctly. I have tried Gargoyle 1.2.5 and 1.3.13. Is there any way to force certain speeds/duplexes? I tried looking it up, but all I found was articles on robocfg, ethtool and mii-tool all of which don't seem to be valid commands.

Re: WRT54G-TM Speed/Duplex Problems?
Does it work correctly with a current DD-WRT build?
To make sure the hardware is not acting up, flash back to one of
the standard DD-WRT builds and verify ports work correctly.
If so, then, flash back to Gargoyle 1.2.5 and reconfigure from default.
Don't reload any old configs, then do more testing.
On the WRT54G's - Stick with 1.3.9 or lower for now.
1.3.10 had a huge code change.
