Are you using Gargoyle? What version?

I think with Gargoyle v1.3.9 you will not lose communication to the LAN even if the IP address changes.

Netgear WNDR3700v2
TP Link 1043ND v3
TP-Link TL-WDR3600 v1

Bruno,

I believe you can schedule the router to reboot on a schedule.

How often do you have to renew the IP on your cablemodem?

I would suggest try and setting Gargoyle to reboot every 24 hours.

Maybe an odd time, at 3AM or some time you know that
nobody will be using the internet.

See if that works for you.

I have a router model WRT54G, and whenever a new update comes out I put the gargoyle, this problem of loss of communication occurs 2 times every 5 trading of ip, so I know, here in Brazil, Internet service providers to cable very difficult to use in cable modems routers just do not use to, however that is only possible to use the router MAC cloning of a machine that was plugged into the modem. It may be that for this reason you do not have such problems, it is always more here.

The renewal varies from 2 to 5 days, the problem that always occurs during the day, ranging from morning and evening. more thanks for the tip, is already set to restart all the 13h day, as if he had put it to restart more than once, so put the 19h as well. Thank you for your attention.

Bruno,

Actually we do have some cable modem issues here as well in the USA.

Sometimes you have to power-cycle the cable modem & power
cycle the router, at the same time, to reset IP's and connection.

That's here in the USA we have to do that as well.
