Hi dudes,
I'd like to know if I can install Gargoyle in
TP-Link TL-WR841N v7 ?
I saw in Gargoyle documentation that works for TL-WR841N v1.5, but anything mentioning TL-WR841N v7.
On the other hand
Backfire 10.03.1 final says that works for this version, so can I keep in mind Gargoyle should work as well?
Let me know.
Regards,

Hi hnl_dk,
I read it, but I'm still in doubt.
Should I install this one?
- gargoyle_1.4.5-ar71xx-tl-wr841nd-v5-squashfs-factory.bin
As my version is v7 can I use this one or I should use Backfire 10.03.1 final?
Regards,

same here... it sounds more like you should use the firmware of an TP-Link TL-MR 3420, if you have a v7.2. But I do not think that it is totally clear.
What version do you have? v7.1 or v7.2?
Maybe v7.1 is only listed as v7.

Only says TL-WR841N
v7 written underneath router, and anything more....
I took a look at Backfire site, and I guess I'll have to wait for V7 versions, am I right?
Is there any Gargoyle trunk version to try it?

try to send a PM to one from the team, to make sure that they see it.
the current versions are already based on the newest version of openwrt, but they will need to make a new config file, to be able to set it up directly for that model.
Maybe you can become a tester for that specific model, if none of them have that model.
