Hi,
I finally managed to upgrade my wr1043 (hw v. 1.0 German is stated on its label) from stock fw to 1.4.4 release and at least at current I'm very satisfied with it.
But during installation I had the following issue (I did follow the instructions in wiki): After I have started the upgrade firmware option in the tp-link web pages it stated at some stage that upgrade is finished and router is about to reboot. But this reboot never happened and also no access was possible, After 15 minutes I did dare to disconnect the power and after that the router came up properly with Gargoyle fw on it.
Now my question: Is that behavior normal (missing note then in wiki pages) or dod I do something wrong? The wlan led was permanently flashing while I was waiting for the automatic reboot.
BR,
Mika
PS: Also when I do changes in Connection -> BASIC section and press save, it does not stop to display something like "applying settings please wait", I need to log in again and then the changes are already there so the dave did work.

If I where you, I would try to make a firmware upgrade again, just to make sure that everything is is okay in the firmware.
Then you will need to use the sysupgrade file.
