Upgrade Firmware 1043ND

Hi Everyone,
I would like to upgrade my firmware from 1.3.16 to 1.5.0. I'm just not sure about the backup and restore process. I'm not very good when it comes to these things and unless it's very straight forward will probably run into problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am using a TPlink WR1043ND v1.8.

If you make a backup of the settings, there is no problem restoring it in new versions.
But you have the problem that the settings are lost then you perform the upgrade. So if you are on another subnet and/or are using the wireless connection, you are having a problem, until you restore the settings.

If you make the backup and use this hack - Subject: remember config after upgrade - before upgrading, then you will have less trouble.
