I just received the pocket router and would like to give some thoughts on my experience setting it up.
Pros:
1. Interface is very nice and responsive.
2. Options are intuitive.
3. Device is much smaller than it looks on the web site!
4. Initial testing with 3 computers showed quick/speedy connections.
Cons:
1. Lack of documentation. The website/wiki has documentation but most of them are specific to Linksys or other routers. Shouldn't the pocket router have a dedicated page for itself since this is the flagship product?
2. Upgrading from the web interface took a very long time. I found no documentation on how long it will take (some say Atheros chipset takes 20-30 minutes). I finally bricked the device by unplugging it during the middle of the upgrade and finally was able to upgrade/restore the firmware using FonFlash.
3. Should probably have a status LEDs to indicate bad firmware/bricked device, etc.
