Help with TP-LINK WR741ND And Wireless Repeater (Solved)

Post by Juan_Carrizo »

Friends could help me configure my new router TP-LINK WR741ND V2.1 install the latest version of the firmware 1.4.2, I tried to configure it as a wireless repeater twice, the first is inaccessible by LAN and wireless LAN and in spite of having such light on, the second suffered a semi-brick which fortunately I could solve thanks to the failsafe mode, someone could tell me the correct way to do it???

PD: Excellent firmware better than DD-WRT, which I have on my Linksys WRT54G V8 and works much better than the original.

After trying another way: Client + AP Mode http://foro.seguridadwireless.net/gargo ... cliente-ap no longer behave as before, apparently a bug in the MAC filter DD-WRT that I have it installed on the router I want to repeat, because even allow your MAC does not connect, it will turn off connects perfectly, same with the router without encryption of some neighbors, no matter serves me perfectly well for my practices in the university and open network as a repeater when traveling :D :D :D
