Can't change FW

Hello!

I wanted to ugrade gargoyle FW from 1.3 to 1.4. I have WRT54GL 1.1. After upgrade I realized, that I choose not-broadcom FW. My wifi doesn't work and command wifi returns wl0(broadcom): Interface type not supported. I downloaded right FW and wanted to upgrade. But there is problem. Through web UI router download FW, disconnect interface for a while (tested with ping 20s maybe) and restart with old FW. I tried to downgrade, but result is same. Any ideas? THANKS!

You can use the TFTP method documented here

Start the TFTP as soon as you seen the rapidly flashing power LED after powerup.

Doesn't work. Router says

Error on server : code pattern incorrect

But I have good firmware, I think. I have

gargoyle_1.4.1-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx

and my device is

WRT54GL 1.1

Try following that

Use either Linksys firmware or DD-WRT firmware to
recover your device first, then go ahead and flash the
Gargoyle firmware back on via the DD-WRT GUI (if flashing DD-WRT)
