Hi everyone,
The setup in my house is I have a wired router ip 192.168.0.1 which provides ips. Connected to this I have a wireless AP, STATIC ip 192 168.0.113 . Anything connected to this AP receives an ip automatically from my router.
I have just configured a fonera 2100 for use as a wireless bridge/ repeater with firmware 1.3.8. The following are the settings.
Bridge IP 192.168.0.125
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
AP/Gateway 192.168.0.1.
It connects via client bridge.
The issue I am having is that any computer connected to the Ethernet port or wifi signal of this repeater does not automatically receive an ip. I must set a static ip for it. Is there any way around this because I would rather receive ip address automatically.
THANKS!

Re: Fonera as Client bridge Automaticly receive IP
I'm having the same problem.
By the way, non working/ shaky client-bridge mode was the reason I stopped using Foneras in my setup 3 years ago, but back then it was an addon to the original firmware.
