Because 1.13.0 has IPv6, its my first experience with it.
At work we use network printer software with a license server. The software is a few years old now (2016) and IPv6 confused it.
In the end I disabled IPv6 and the problems went away. I could probably disable IPv6 on the problem devices but I'm yet to find a reason to use IPv6 (yet)
No NAT traversal, so each device receives a globally routable IP address.
Sometimes that’s good, and sometimes that is bad depending on what you want to use it for.
Auto configuration of downstream routers is good too.
