Developers,
I am curious about a few things concerning the future of Gargoyle...
When might the latest openwrt (21) become a part of Gargoyle?
What is future regarding adding mesh networking to Gargoyle?
If one had a non-WiFi 6/6E router (as I have, a WRT3200acm) and wanted to plug a WiFi 6/6E USB adapter in, how difficult would it be for Gargoyle to be able to support such an idea?
I had suggested adding DHCP option 6 to one of the menus, but I am now curious, how difficult it would be to read a set of dhcp option numbers and default values from a file and simple have a menu that displays and allows for their modification?
Having other DHCP options (such as 66, 67, etc... for say pxeboot) would be nice to add also and having an easy way for a user to change a configuration file that adds option to a menu might be a really good thing to have!

Re: Future Gargoyle Features
Given the comments from the WRT3200ACM/WRT32X thread in the OpenWrt forums, it sounds like a fix may have finally been found for the mac80211 dealing with lockups and other issues.Lantis wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 7:46 amhttps://github.com/lantis1008/gargoyle/ ... enwrt_2102

High hopes for 21.02 and my Linksys routers, whenever it can make it in.

Thanks for all that you do
Re: Future Gargoyle Features
All,
In as much as my main two routers are a Linksys WRT3200ACM and a Linksys WRT1900AC this news is most wonderful!
I have recently decided to re-image my routers with OpenWRT for 802.11r and 802.11s support but I plan to keep Gargoyle running on a Netgear router or as a package under ProxMox until I can get my new pfSense box fully configured.
