What do you think of the WPS button being "ON" and "flashes" when it is pressed, then goes back to being "ON" after the WPS discovery time has ended.
This way the button is easily seen on the router itself and shows that it is in discovery mode when it is flashing.
This is just an initial thought.

Keep coming up with ideas. I'll think of a few if I get time.Eric wrote:Gargoyle does not implement WPS. WPS is inherently insecure, see here.
Edit:
What about the WPS led indicating wifi status (wifi enabled is on, wifi disabled is off)?

Re: LED lights on D-Link DIR-835 rev. A1
So I have had an opportunity to load the original frmware for the D-Link DIR-835 Rev. A1 with version 1.04
The Power LED is Green by default.
The Planet LED flashes Green with internet activity by default
and the WPS button LED slow flashes Blue for 2 minutes then stops.
I realize that WPS will not be used on Gargoyle but this is an exercise to find the default D-Link behaviour.
Also, Lantis, you are correct in that the LAN ports do not have any LED's to light up...
So I am really appreciative of the Link Status on the Status page.

I'll develop a patch tonight and push it to the main code for Eric to review.
I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank you for your efforts in testing and getting back to me on these code changes. It is really helpful

No it will be device specific. The same principles will apply however.
