D-Link DWR 116 Wireless Disabled

I installed OpenWrt on my D-link DWR116 today, and everything worked fine including the Wireless. But after I upgraded to Gargoyle, the Wireless keeps showing "Disabled".
In Connection>>Basic>>Wireless Mode, the drop down only has "disabled" as the only option. I installed the Wifi Schedule Plugin, when I click on "start wireless" button, nothing happens.

I will appreciate all the support to make this work.

To which version did you upgrade?
Have you tried rebooting yet? Or a factory reset?

I Upgraded to version 1.12.0 gargoyle_1.12.0-ramips-mt7620-dlink_dwr-116-a1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin though my router is Version A2.

I rebooted and restored the stock firmware and started all over, the issue remained the same.

I noticed that the flash memory was small, kindly advise on how to locate older version with smaller footprint.

Could you provide a boot log (logread and dmesg) please?
Additionally the contents of /tmp/cached_basic_vars
